  • Fish (3-4 pieces)
  • Onion fine chopped ( 1 small size)
  • Onion Paste(1tsp)
  • Ginger-garlic paste(2tsp)
  • Tomato chopped (1 medium size)
  • Turmeric powder(2tsp)
  • Red chili powder(2tsp)
  • Cumin powder(1tsp)
  • Coriander powder(1tsp)
  • Garam masala(1/2tsp)
  • Bay leaf(1-2 optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard Oil
  • Coriander leaves
  • Green chili (For Garnishing)

Method of preparation

  1. Clean, wash the fish and mix with turmeric powder, little bit red chili powder and salt. Keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish till  it becomes brown.
  3. Now heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf, chopped onions and fry for 1-2 min. Then add onion paste and cook for another minute.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes down. Add salt, turmeric, red chili, powder, cumin powder, coriander powder one by one.
  5. Then add chopped tomatoes and fry until oil leaves out.
  6. Add garam masala powder, add little water and again fry for 1 minute.
  7. Add fried fish and little water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Now your Fish Masala is ready.
  9. Garnish with some coriander leaves and green chilies. Serve hot with plain Rice and Dal.

Prepare Chilli Chicken Recipe at Home

Chilli Chicken is a very popular dish in India. It is a mouth watering and delicious recipe across the globe. My family members love this recipe very much. If you are planning to cook this recipe in your kitchen with a great taste, then follow below steps. This is the easiest and simplest way to prepare chilli chicken in your kitchen.

Chilli Chicken Ingredients

  1. 500 grams bone less chicken cut into small cubical pieces.
  2. 1 Egg (optional)
  3. 1 medium size capsicum cut into cubical pieces.
  4. 2/3 green chilli cut into small pieces
  5. 2/3 dry red chilli cut into long thin pieces
  6. 250 gram onion cut into cubical pieces.
  7. 100 gram sliced garlic cloves.
  8. 100 gram sliced spring onion (optional for garnishing)
  9. 100 gram ginger. Cut into thin long pieces
  10. 1 table spoon black paper powder
  11. Refined oil for deep fry
  12. Salt to taste
  13. ½ table spoon Chinese salt (Ajinomoto ) (optional)
  14. 4 table spoon corn flour (corn starch)
  15. 2 table spoon Red Chilli/garlic souse
  16. 1 table spoon Soya souse
  17. 1 table spoon Vinegar
  18. 1 table spoon tomato souse (optional)
  19. Curry leave (optional)
  20. Coriander leave (optional)


  1. Wash chicken and keep 2-3 minutes to remove water from it. Better to use thigh chicken pieces (bone less) for soft chilli chicken.
  2. Add salt to taste, add ½ table spoon chinese salt (Ajinomoto), add  1 table spoon black paper powder, add 4 table spoon corn starch and add one egg with chicken. Marinate the chicken and keep it aside for 20-30 minutes. You can also marinate the chicken up to 2/3 hours for better result.
  3. Take refined oil in a pan and hit it with medium flame.
  4. Fry chicken pieces till golden brown with low flame.
  5. Fry long sliced ginger in the same oil till golden brown and keep it aside.
  6. Then take a small bowl and add 1 table spoon of corn starch with water and keep it aside. This will be use for gravy in later stage.
  7. Now we will prepare chilli chicken gravy, so first take a pan.
  8. Take 1 table spoon oil and hit on the pan with medium flame.
  9. Add red chilli pieces to the oil.
  10. Add sliced garlic cloves into oil
  11. Add curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds.
  12. Then add chopped green chilli
  13. Add soya souse.
  14. Add red chilli/garlic souse.
  15. Add vinegar.
  16. Add one cup of water.
  17. Give it a nice boil with medium flame.
  18. Then add fried chicken pieces.
  19. Add capsicum pieces. You can add different color of capsicum for better looks and garnishing.
  20. Add onion pieces into the chicken.
  21. Add fried ginger into it.
  22. Add (Sprinkle)  1 or 2 table spoon of mixed corn starch water and fry for 2-3 minutes more.

Then take your chilli chicken on a plate and add spring onion and sliced coriander leaves for garnishing.

Prepare Egg Curry Recipe at Home

Egg Curry Recipe. Most of us prefer egg as regular food habits. It is easy to cook and also takes less time for preparation. Boiled eggs are very helpful for nutrition. Preparation Time: 10-12 minutes     Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes Yield: 2 Servings   Recipe Type : Non Veg


  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 medium size onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium size Tomato Finely chopped
  • Ginger Paste(1 Tsp)
  • Garlic Paste(1 Tsp)
  • Turmeric powder(1/2 Tsp)
  • Red Chili powder(1/2 Tsp)
  • Coriander Powder(1/2 Tsp)
  • Cumin powder(1/2 Tsp)
  • Garam masala(1/4 Tsp)
  • Cumin Seeds(1/2 tsp)
  • 1 or 2 Bay Leaf
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

Method of Preparation

  1. Boil the Eggs and remove shells.
  2. Heat 1 Tsp oil in a pan. Apply a pinch of turmeric powder on boiled eggs and roast till they starts to get slight brown color. Keep them aside.
  3. Heat 3 Tsp oil in the same pan. Add cumin Seeds and bay leaf and let them crackle.
  4. Add chopped onions and fry till onions become translucent. Add ginger and garlic paste and cook for few minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes and saulte till tomato gets mashed up with onion. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt to taste. Saute till oil starts to come out from the spices.
  6. Add water to it and mix well and let it simmer for 10 mins.
  7. Add boiled eggs and let curry simmer on low heat for about 5-6 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Now your egg curry is ready. Serve hot with Roti or rice.


  1. You can use little bit of turmeric powder while fry eggs in oil. Eggs will become red-brown.
  2. You can also put sliced eggs instead of whole egg.

Prepare Chicken Curry Recipe at Home

Chicken curry recipe (chicken kasa) is a very popular dish in India. Simple to prepare chicken curry recipe at home. Chicken is the most preferable non veg item in the world. Specially very popular recipe in Odisha and West Bengal. If you want to try Chicken Curry (Chicken Kasha) recipe at your home,  then follow below steps. The method of preparation for both Chicken Curry and Chicken Kasha is same, except the thickness of the chicken gravy.


  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Onion finely chopped(3 medium size)
  • Ginger paste(1 tsp)
  • Garlic Paste(1 tsp)
  • Tomato chopped(1 small size)
  • Turmeric powder(1/2 tsp)
  • Red chilli powder(1/2 tsp)
  • Coriander powder(1/2 tsp)
  • Cumin powder(1/2 tsp)(optional)
  • Chicken masala powder(1/2 tsp)
  • Whole garam masala (Cinnamon, Cardamom, Bay leaf(optional), Black Pepper)
  • Garam masala powder(1/4tsp)
  •  Mustard oil as needed
  • Salt to taste

Method of Preparation

  • Marinate chicken by adding salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder in a bowl. Then keep it for 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add whole garam masala and cumin seeds. Wait till it crackles.
  • Then add chopped onions and fry it till golden brown colour.
  • After that add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1 more minute.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, chopped tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, chicken masala powder, garam masala powder and salt. Fry for 2 more minutes.
  • Then cover it.  Add little bit water and again cook for 2-3 minutes with low heat.
  • Add marinated chicken pieces and mix well.
  • Cook well for 10-15 minutes. Add water as per consistency.
  • Now chicken curry is ready, Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

Tips for Chicken Kasha recipe

You can try chicken Kasha recipe in the same way as mentioned above, the only difference is you have to adjust the amount of water added while cooking. For chicken kasha, just add little amount of water while cooking the chicken

Prepare Chicken Biryani Recipe at Home

For Rice

  • 2 Cups long grain basmati rice
  • Sufficient amount of water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1tsp saffron and ½ cup of milk( Or use 2 pinch of  Yellow /Orange red food color, If saffron is not available)
  • 2 Medium size Onion for fry
  • 10-12 Cashew nuts

For Garnishing

  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1tsp saffron and ½ cup of milk( Or use 2 pinch of  Yellow /Orange red food color, If saffron is not available)
  • 2 Medium size Onion for fry
  • 10-12 Cashew nuts  
  • 10-12 Raisins

For chicken Gravy

  • ½ kg chicken(medium size)
  • 3 Medium size onions( finely chopped)
  • 1 tomato (Chopped)
  • Ginger paste(1 tsp)
  • Garlic Paste(1 Tsp)
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • Whole garam masala
  • Turmeric  powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Coriander powder( 1 tsp)
  • Chicken masala powder(1 Tsp)
  • Garam masala powder (1/4 tsp)
  • Mustard Oil as needed
  • Salt to taste

For Marination

  • 2 tsp Yogurt
  • Salt
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Red chilli powder

Method of preparation

Step 1: Marination

Wash the chicken properly. Mix yogurt, salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder with chicken pieces in a bowl and keep it for 2 hours.

Step 2: Fry Onions,  Cashew nuts and Raisins

  • Heat oil in a pan. Slice the onions very thinly and put the onions in the oil.
  • Keep stirring the onions in medium-low heat. So that they get evenly browned.
  • Now transfer the onion into a plate and add ½ tsp garam masala powder in it and mix well.
  • In the same oil fry the cashew nuts and raisins.

Step 3: Cooking the Chicken

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add bay leaf, whole garam masala (cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and black peppercorns).
  • When it starts to sizzle add chopped onions. Fry until it turns light brown color.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for 1 minute till its raw smell goes down. Add chopped tomatoes and salt.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chicken masala powder and garam masala powder. Add little water and again for 2 minutes.
  • Then add chicken pieces and mix well. Cook till chicken is perfectly cooked and oil leaves out. You may add little water to adjust the thickness of the gravy.
  • Now your chicken is ready.

Step 4: Cooking the Rice

  • Wash the rice gently until the water appears clear and soak for 10 minutes.
  • Now heat sufficient amount of water in a big vessel. Let water to boil.
  • Add soaked rice and salt to water. The rice should absorb the salt otherwise the biryani will be tasteless.
  • Cook the rice about 80%. Do not over boil the rice. Now strain the rice.

Step 5: Make Saffron Milk

  • In half cup of milk add few threads of saffron. Wait till it turns yellow.
  • Note that, if saffron is not available then take 1tsp of lemin juice add a pinch of food colour into it.

Step 6: Final Preparation or Layering

  • Take a thick bottom pan with tight lid.
  • Spread some desi ghee or oil at the bottom of the pan.
  • First a layer of rice followed by a layer of chicken. Sprinkle some fried onions, cashew nuts, raisins and food color.
  • Make 2-3 layers of rice and chicken and followed by fried onions, cashew nuts and raisins. The top most layer should be rice. Sprinkle the leftover onions, cashews, raisins and food color.
  • At last pour some desi ghee or oil into it. Close the lid tightly.
  • Leave the pan on the low heat for 7/8 minutes.
  • Now your chicken biryani is ready.


  • Rice expands about 3 times from its original size while cooking, so be sure to use the proper size pan. Do not over boil the rice. Keep till half boiled.
  • Serve hot with yogurt or raita

Prepare Mutton Keema Recipe at Home

This is the simplest way to prepare Mutton Keema Recipe at home. Mutton keema is a very tasty and popular food in India. You can make both mutton keema and chicken keema in the same way as describe below. Just you need to use chicken if you want to make chicken keema and user mutton if you want to make mutton keema. The cooking process is very easy, so  that you can cook it in your home kitchen.


  • Mutton mince (Keema)  200gms
  • Onion chopped (1 medium size)
  • Ginger & garlic paste (1 Tsp)
  • Slices tomatoes (1 medium size)
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Cumin seeds (1 Tsp)
  • Turmeric powder (1/3 Tsp)
  • Red chili powder (1/3 Tsp)
  • Coriander powder (1/3 Tsp)
  • Cumin Powder (1/3 Tsp)
  • Meat masala (1/3 Tsp) Optional
  • Garam Masala powder (1/4 Tsp)
  • Mustard Oil (2 tsp)

Method of preparation

  1. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan. Add cumin seeds and wait still it crackles.
  2. Add  chopped onions and  Green chilies fry it still golden colour. Then add ginger & garlic paste and fry until its raw smell has gone.
  3. Add all powder masala and fry for 1 minute. Add  chopped tomatoes and fry for another 1 minute.
  4. Then add garam masala powder and little bit water and again fry.
  5. Add mutton mince and  stir fry  for 5 minutes breaking up any lumps if formed.
  6. Add ¼ cup of water and bring it to boil.Cover it and lower the heat for 15 minutes.
  7. Add chopped coriander leaves  and mix well and simmer covered for 2 minutes.
  8. Now your mutton keema is ready.
  9. Serve hot with roti or chapattis.


If you are looking for chicken keema, then you can try in the same way as mutton keema. just take chicken instead of mutton. If you don’t find mutton or chicken mince (keema) in market, then you can buy chicken or mutton and make it mince (keema) in your kitchen. Just put bone less mutton or chicken into a mixer grinder & grind it little bit. Then you can use it as keema.
